Comic Crazee does it again & Rare Comics II: oumpah-pah

Comic crazee helped me beautify my blog again and gave the phantom picture on your right. Its great thanks a lot!
I would be interested to know how many of you have read about the adventures of oumpah-pah. oumpah-pah is an Apache (I hope its politically correct to say that) who befriends a french army officer. Oumpah-pah was a simple man and had an appetite like that of Obelix. So I identify with both of them since I love food too! Unfortunately the venture was a failure and folded.
More information is available here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oumpah-pah
I have read about 2/3 of his adventures in english. I was available in Eashwari Lending Library in Chennai. I would be curious to know if any one else from chennai frequented that place. I got all my comics there (IJCs, Asterix, Tintin, Smurf, Biggles and Blueberry)

Sadly I think Oumpah-pah comics are not available in print in english. French/Germans ones are still available though. It would be great if the english comics are available online. Here are some nice covers I found on the net.

I definitely remember having read at least three of these in english. Please let me know if you know where we can get english scans or english hard copies.

"comicrazee :-)" creations

As many of you know our friend comicrazee has contributed some wonderful animated blog headers to the Indrajal Blogs. He has also created two covers for Mandrake covers and has contributed a coloured Mandrake strip.

This is his blogger profile where he has collected his blog headers for CW, ICC, and CW (1st anniversary special) along with blog header for this blog.

I am very proud to say that comicrazee's association with the IJC blogs started with the grouchy smurf, smurfette blog header. First he gave me a picture, The next day he sent me animated header. I simply love it.

I have suggested to comicrazee that he could start a blog himself either with comics or maybe artwork involving comic charectars on the lines of the exhibit that Sameer wrote about.

Maybe with a little help from you guys we could persuade him to do so!

Thanks so much comicrazee. We want more!

Rare Comics I wish were available online

A list of comics that I wish were available online:
(I) The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko. 5 books were written by Herge. Three of them

(1) Mr. Pumps Legacy (2) Destination New York and (3) The Valley of the Cobras are available online in English.

The two comics shown here are not available in English. Only Spanish links

All 5 links are from http://www.rapidfind.org/

If someone gets hold of these comics on the net please do let me know.

(II) Lucky Luke. Sagnik posted some covers in hist first post. Sadly to the best of my knowledge no Lucky luke scans are available on the net.

(III) The Smurfs. Except for three short stories available at Anupam's blog the long stories are not available online.

I have a couple of these adventures. How I wish I had a scanner ...
Please do let me know if you come across any links for the above.
